Family Pictures

We got family pictures taken the other night and they turned out great.

Chesterfield

On Friday we went on a school field trip to an old town called Chesterfield.

It was so fun.

We were able to tour the houses and the guides took the kids around and had demonstrations.

Madeline learned how to make butter.

Kendall was pretty impressed with the old equipment.

This was the soap demonstration. We were even able to take home some soap.

They learned how to make rope.

BFF

Madeline has a large group of neighborhood friends. They will all show up at the door and ask for her, usually holding a letter or craft that they made just for her. Then they all scramble to get to her first so the can pick her up, hold her, and give her a great big hug. She is the smallest of the group, so she is fun to pick up.

This is Madeline's best bud Kiana. They could play for hours and Madeline hangs out by the drive way waiting for Kiana to show up. They have an absolute blast together.

The Fair

On Saturday we went to the fair to see the all the exhibits and eat some good food.

Madeline really enjoyed her corn dog.

Madeline snapped a picture of us.

Madeline has just recently figured out how to cross her eyes. She really wanted to make sure I put this picture on here for you all to see.

The fair was just the same as last year. It never seems to change much. Madeline loved it and that is what counts.

After the fair we came home and used our newly built fire pit!

We roasted smores and talked about our day, it was fun and relaxing.
