Max is now a two year old!
He loves trains so we bought him a Thomas the train lego set. He loves it.
He wouldn't blow out his candles but he quite enjoyed the party.

Max turns TWO!
Dear Max,
I can't believe you are two years old. You made quite the entrance into our family. We had to wait a long time for you and when we finally heard we had a son we were beyond excited! When I held you for the first time you just melted my heart. Your dad and I stayed up all night talking about what a miracle had just taken place in our family with your arrival. God knew you Max and exactly where you needed to be. He also knew how much we needed you. We know beyond a doubt that you were the one we were waiting for. What a sweet boy to have in our family.
You have grown up so much! You are the sweetest little boy with a lot of energy. You love to laugh and tease everybody. If you are not comfortable with certain people you just stare through them. You are a very bright boy and love to keep busy doing projects and tearing things apart. You are in LOVE with trains! Seriously obsessed with trains. Disney's Chuggington is the only thing you will watch on TV. You have never been interested in watching TV until you saw the trains one day and that was it. You were in love. Everything can be a train to you. The other day you lined up all of your trucks and made a train.
You can now say "I love you". Which melts all of our hearts. You will give hugs and kisses but only when you want to. You finally love to read stories. You still don't want to sit through church. You did color on the wall though to help keep you busy at church. You love to be outside even if it is freezing.
You love to help me in the kitchen and put in ingredients when I am baking. You wake up bright and early and run into our room to sleep with mom and dad. You can climb out of crib no problem and have been for months now. You weigh 27 lbs and are 34 inches tall. The 50th percentile for both weight and height.

Valentines Day
We had an awesome Valentine's Day.
That night we had a candlelit taco salad dinner. Super good and Max blew out all of our candles.

That morning the kids had a grand surprise.
Kendall bought them each a stuffed animal or pillow. As his tradition every year.
When the kids are two they get a huge stuffed animal and Max got a puppy.
I got them pop tarts ( a treat at our house) and bubble gum, which I am pretty sure Max ate all of it in two days.
We had pancake hearts for breakfast.
