1st day of school and Jackson Hole Wyoming!

Madeline started 3rd grade this year.  She is so beautiful.  She LOVES her teacher and she is doing very good in school with A's in every class.  She loves math and it seems to be her best subject.  She is doing 4th grade material along with the rest of her class.  I love her school!

This summer Grandpa and Grandma took all of us to Jackson Hole to see the sights and have dinner at the Bar J.
Here are some pics from the trip.

Check out all that candy!  Sorry for the yellow pics.  I am to lazy to fix it.

We checked out the art display.

I need one of these.

I love Kodie's face in this picture.

The kids had the most fun playing with the antique store owner's dog.

Check it out the DeLorean!

Waiting for dinner to start.  Max is checking out the wagons and horses.

Max had plenty of time to throw a few fits.  Notice the onlookers.

Dad helped take the grumpiness right out of him.

They loaded us up in wagons and took us into the canyon where they had a delicious dinner.  Braxton said it was the best thing he has ever eaten!

The lovely show and after dinner we rode back down.  It was so fun!

The zoo and pioneer village

On August 17th, we took Kendall's sister Shannon to the airport and we stayed the day to explore Salt Lake City.  We took the kids to the zoo and it was so fun but I think we enjoyed the pioneer village across the street way more.

Anyway here are the pictures!

Max really bonded with the monkeys.

It was super hot so Dad treated us all to some dippin dots.  They are sooo good.

If you have never been to Pioneer Village at "This is the Place" monument you really need to make a trip.

We had so much fun and we didn't even see half of it.

They have all of these pioneer houses and people acting as pioneers and recreating the time period.

While Madeline and I are posing Max was tearing apart the railing.

Brigham Young's farm house.  Apparently pink was a manly color back in the day.

Getting some sponges and cooling off.   Madeline threw one at Max and just ruined his day.  Poor guy.

Making pioneer crafts.

Max was keeping himself busy by throwing beads in the floor cracks.

It was such a fun day to spend with the kids.  They had a ball!
