Easter

So my pictures pretty much sucked this year.   For some reason I never got a good picture of Madeline.

But I got a cute one of Max... look at that face.

Madeline loved her kite.

Max had the most fun emptying his egg basket.

But he got some handsome hats for that bald little head.

After church in our Sunday best.

Max was tired and had chocolate on his face.

Madeline had just pulled out her cute hair bow, right before the picture... darn that girl.  Next time I will get pictures before church, maybe I will have better luck.

COokies and miLK

Madeline and Max helped me clean the house, yes even Max.  He would grab a rag and wipe the nearest item clean.  He also helped unput the clothes away... I just made up the word unput because that is exactly what Max does.

So after we had cleaned the house we made cookies and we had a warm cookies and milk party.  Super good!

The many faces of Max.

Doesn't this one just melt your heart?

Little man teasing his sister by splashing milk on her.

Such a tease.

Sweet little Mads.

It's My birthday!

For my birthday, Kendall made the usual birthday breakfast of Butterscotch Bundt Rolls.  My absolute favorite.  Apparently through the whole breakfast my plate was wiggling but I wasn't noticing because I was busy stuffing my face and Max's face.  Finally Kendall asked my why my plate was so wobbly and so I looked underneath and there was a pile of cash.   He then told me he would finish up some of the immediate work he had to do and then he would take the rest of the day to spend with me and take me shopping.
 How sweet is that!?!

Funny side story...
the day before Kendall and Madeline mysteriously disappeared for a great length of time and when I called to see what was taking them so long Kendall gave me vague answers.  When they returned home I pinned Madeline in a corner (because she is notorious for not keeping secrets) and I asked her what they had been doing... she replied "Dad said I couldn't tell you because he would pull my finger back."   Turns out they were planning the surprise and he had Madeline pinky swear not to tell, in Madeline's mind that means if you break a pinky swear the other person gets to bend your finger back.
;-)

Kendall spent the whole day going to what ever store I wanted too and never once did he complain.   He totally rocks and earned major husband points.
We bought some yummy cupcakes from the Cupcake Factory for my birthday cake.
Perfect.

Also I finally posted about Kendall's birthday party.. go to January to read.
