Wisdom teeth

Yesterday I had my wisdom teeth removed.  I was freaking out the whole day.  I hate pain, in fact that is an understatement, I loathe pain.  I won't do anything fun if it means that at some point there could be pain involved.  In other words I am a huge chicken.  It is amazing that I was convinced to have a child because that was some intense pain and believe me after 35 hours of labor I KNOW pain.   Well my wisdom teeth were causing a significant amount of pain so I decided since they already hurt I might as well get this over with.  So I went to the  sedation dentistry people and was given a happy little pill to put me to sleep.  I took one an hour before the visit and they would give me another one while I was there.   The out spoken secretary looks at me when I arrived and said "You are so tiny... and they gave you a WHOLE pill!"  I didn't know what to say so I nodded and went to use the restroom.  The lady continues with  "I was bigger than you when I was three!"   I always compare this with someone coming up to a fat person and saying "You are SO big.  Did you know you were so big? "    It is rude people and I get tired of hearing it.   Anyway continuing on... they had to give me 3 pills!  Yes ladies and gentlemen THREE pills.  They kept waiting for me to fall asleep and I mentioned that maybe I am too nervous to fall asleep and they tell me that usually all their patients are asleep by now.   Yikes is there something wrong with me?  The dentist guesses that I have a fast metabolism and gives me another pill.    Out like a light.  I remember nothing until 8:00 pm that night.    Apparently I was a riot though.  Kendall felt like he was in charge of an incoherent mental patient all night.   I told him I needed three pills to go to sleep about 7 times and each time he just nodded his head and said " you already told me that".  I guess that was the part I was the most excited about.  I slept like a log all night.  So thank you sedation dentistry.  Today I feel like a million bucks!  Although as you can see from the picture I felt a lot worse.  No memory of it though!   The blurriness is a gift from Kendall.

Much better today!  Getting your wisdom teeth out isn't so bad.  Knock on wood.
