Kendall has really been into running for about a year and a half. He LOVES it. He decided to run a half marathon with his friend Kent. He has seriously been talking about it for a month straight.
I will just say that this is a passion I don't quite understand. Running has never been enjoyable for me.
The morning of the race we woke up to snow. Did it damper Kendall's excitement?
Not in the least.
The kids and I planned on being there about an hour and a half after the race started so we could see him finish.
We stopped and ate lunch at McDonalds.
After lunch we headed to the race. Apparently we took too much time because we missed seeing him finish.
It was cold and slick. But Kendall did it!!
He ran it in 1 hour and 51 minutes. Not too shabby. He finished 18th in his age group.

That's awesome Kendall is into Marathon's!! I work with a girl that's really into them too! She goes to Salt Lake all the time and runs in them. I never liked running either... a fast paced walk is more for me!
