Finalization

This finalization was an amazing miracle!  

Those of you who adopt know how important it is that this adoption was able to finalize in the year 2012.   

It almost didn't happen. 

 We had been getting everything we needed to do to finalize as fast as possible because we really needed it to be in this tax year.  Our lawyers were amazing and doing everything possible to make it happen.  

A few weeks into December, we receive an email from Larry and he said we probably won't be able to finalize this year as the birth father paperwork wouldn't be in until January.  

We were so disappointed.  

On Thursday December 27th, by some miracle they received the paperwork... three weeks earlier than expected!   Only God can pull that off.  

We had to wait for a few things and overnight some mail but it happened!  

On Monday December 31, 2012 we were able to legally call this little man ours!
