Max's 3rd Birthday

Max had the wonderful opportunity to have his birth father Davis send him a gift.  This year was all about Toy Story it seemed.  Davis sent him a Buzz Lightyear and a Toy Story blanket.  Max was thrilled.  Our friend Diane made an adorable Toy Story cake, which Max still talks about.

I can't believe our little man is THREE years old.
We just love him to pieces.
A little about Max at 3.
Max is almost three years old and here are some of the things we want to remember about this age. They are all random and some things are just the quirky things he does.
Max loves to be busy! He loves to help in the kitchen, with his new baby brother, and in anyway he can. He loves to eat dough, whether it is bread dough or pizza dough. He always asks to lick the mixer after I make a batch of bread. For some reason he does not feel the same way after I make a batch of cookies... he is all about the bread dough. He loves to grind his teeth during the day and it drives us all crazy. He gets an evil laughter when we notice he is grinding his teeth and he grinds harder when we tell him to stop.  Silly boy. He is finally potty trained! Hurray! He is the family comedian, always trying to make people laugh. He loves to sit ON the table during dinner... we have a hard time convincing him the chair is the best spot. He loves Lightning McQueen, Woody, Buzz, anything Toy Story related. He loves building things and especially loves his Lincoln Log set he got for Christmas. He loves dinner food for breakfast... like corn dogs. He doesn't like milk on his cereal but in a cup, he also doesn't like to eat his pancakes with syrup. He likes to play dress up with his sister and likes it when she paints his toenails blue. He loves bath time and will bathe three times a day if we let him. He likes to ask me what time it is... like he has somewhere important to be.  He also likes to respond if someone asks what time it is... he makes up his own time like "uhh 49". He refuses to wear clothes during the day. I cannot for the life of me keep him dressed. If they get wet at all... I am talking a tiny little spot, he has to take it all off. We never had this problem until we potty trained. I think it is just too much to pull down any extra clothes to use the bathroom. Max is such a happy kid and we love him so very much. He keeps life interesting.
